A structural survey report is the most thorough and detailed report on the condition of a property that you can buy. It identifies all the significant structural defects and items of disrepair in a property and collates them together in an easy to read jargon-free document. We check for structural problems, roofs, dampness, timber decay, roof spaces, walls, floors, woodworm, gutters, etc.

A table of budget costs is included for the major defects and problems, together with a timescale for each repair. In this way you will not only know what is wrong, but also have a budget cost for its repair, and a timescale for when it should be done.

Unlike an RICS Homebuyers report, our structural survey reports are not limited to 9 pages in length, so our surveyors have room to explain specific problem areas in detail, as well as illustrating them with photographs. Structural surveys are usually 30 pages in length.

In addition to the features above, all residential London flats / apartment surveys include a report on the main property building, for service charge liability reasons, and all property surveys include a Rebuilding Cost Valuation, for fire insurance purposes.

He or she will be happy to discuss the survey with you and answer any queries that you may have.
